I am so pleased you came back after my rambling nonsense of a post last time.
It's Friday (woo!) and I may or may not be a day late with releasing this blog. It's something that I have found harder to write that I anticipated. Being honest about your weight and your food problem is much harder to accept than I first thought.
So let's get down to it, my weight loss is now essential. I am 23 years old and I weigh in at just under 15 stone (even writing this I actually cringe that I telling people this). I don't want to become a mum (in the future, definitely not now) and not be able to run around with them because I am too large and get out of breath easily.
Therefore, after years of "trying" to diet and failing, 2018 will be my year. It's going to be a hard, slow and sometimes impossible process but I am hoping this blog and people following my story will keep me motivated and on target.
Like I said last week I am going to share my tips, tricks and failures so I can hopefully inspire some of you if you need the inspiration.
Here is the topics I will be looking at:
- Meal ideas
- Simple everyday exercises
- Healthy Snacks
One of the main things I struggle with is healthy snacks and exercise - I can do the healthy meals, because I actually eat quite healthy in terms of breakfast, lunch and dinner but I find unless you like nuts, peanut butter or cardboard that healthy snacks are pretty much out of bounds. This is something I want to explore more of, there must be something which tastes nice that doesn't involves nuts, because surely not everyone is a nut lover (I definitely am not!).
I also want to focus heavily on exercises that have a high impact but don't take up too much time; because running a business it's hard to find time to spend an hour at the gym or go to regular classes or even get out for a run so I will be looking at in home / garden exercise to help me combat this extra layer I have occupied.
Next week, I will be exploring my very first healthy snack, so stay tuned for the recipe. Currently I am trying to cut out as many carbs as I can manage (I have a bad case of Hangry and carbs are the only thing that stop me being a monster so they can't be cut out completely) and doing 20 mins of brisk walking a day - in the winter I do this on my step machine as I struggle to find motivation if I have to go out in the dark.
I promise the posts from now on will be a lot more informative than this one; this is just an introductory one so you can see where I started and what it is all about.
